On April 23, 2020, the Hip-Hop community lost one of it’s brightest stars. Fred The Godson was born in 1985, and raised in the South Bronx at a time when the city was as arguably a hard place to grow. He first garnered hip-hop recognition in 2010 on underground mixtape projects, but he quickly became a breakout star, making the  freshman cover of  XXL magazine in 2011. He produced music with artists across multiple generations and gained the the respect of hip-hop heavyweights, including Kool G Rap, Fat Joe, Jim Jones, Joell Ortiz, French Montana and a lot more.
